We wanted to post a quick note on here to point you to our forum. We've just announced a few events that will be happening for the remainder of 2008. Check it out, sign up...All contestants in any of the events need to register with the site to be eligible. The big jem of the Fall Season will be a handmade Steelhead/Salmon fly rod from Rybak Rods. Ya, it's Dallas' company and we are pimp'n him out...everyone knows pimp'n ain't easy! I've just recieved my 6 piece 5 weight rod from him before he headed out to Poland. I will be reviewing the rod after my trip to the Pere Marquette this week. Hopefully a Salmon won't decide to go after one of my dry flies. Our 3rd Annual Sexy bug contest is coming up as well and we are working out the kinks for our first Fishing Porn Photo Contest. I wasn't sure where I could use this photo, but, since you scheduled your vacation over our ANNUAL SalmonCamp... seemed a good use of a few hundred thousand pixels.
The week hasn't change for several years. Not sure how you over-scheduled your vacation on top of our ANNUAL SalmonCamp that has CHANGED for SEVERAL years!!!

While we have members internationally, this is kind of local news for us in South Eastern Michigan. So if you are on the base in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia or an air force base in Texas (you guys and gals know who you are) please bare with us. BTW, thank you for all you do. We wouldn't be able to do this great sport without your hard work and sacrifice. Ok...so I got an email from Trout Unlimited...seems there is talk (and has been talk) about removing the Argo Damn in Ann Arbor. This 'could' help to create a cold water fishery on the Huron River. So, if you are interested, there is a survey setup on surveymoney.com. Click on 'read more' to read the letter and to take the survey! It would be great to see another damn dam fall! |

 Mike Schultz in Ann Arbor In addition, Pornking is heading up to the Black Lake area in Michigan and should hopefully have some good fishing porn to show for the weeklong excursion. Anyone have any info about this area, please contact us. Keep it as vague or as specific as possible. You can send emails by visiting our contact page or hit this page in our forum to post info. Dallas is heading to Poland for the month of September to hit some of his favorite Grayling streams again this year. We are hoping to have some even better fishing porn when he gets back. He'll be posting on the site throughout the month of September...oh ya but he'/ll be missing our annual fishingporn.com SalmonCamp. Yep 7 years running and he is bailing to go to Poland.  Living in Michigan in February, it's always nice when a cheap vacation to the warmer parts of the country presents itself. We had a deal we couldn't pass up to go to Florida for a week. We took the dog to the kennel and I asked a fishing buddy if he could swing by and throw a few carrots in the kids Guinea Pig cage and give it some water and pellets.
All was well, talked to him a few times. The pig appeared to be happy and gay. All that changed the night before we left to come back home. I get a call..."Dude, the hamster died!". "First off, it's a Guinea Pig", I tell him, chuckling.
I half laugh and start to question what happened. He explains that the little guy was fine, no problems all week. He came by the last time to check on him and the little pig had expired. Well having been through several pets (as most of you who have kids probably have too), I was like "No problem, I'll take care of it, it isn't your fault". He felt horrible and wanted to buy a new one... "NO NO NO" I said, as we didn't need to replace him. I think he was more shook up that the kids would be once I told them. |

 OK Porn seekers...It's that time of year for our annual Steelhead Camp at Barothy Lodge.... A few of us are heading up to the fabled Pere Marquette on April 15th and we'll be around through the 20th in various sections of the river. We'll be staying a few nights at the Outdoor Inn. A great place to stay if you are looking for local lodging for your next trip! Rick and Karen have a great motel just waiting for you!
Look for the fishingporn.com mothership as well as various floatables, and, if all goes well, Cletus will be dunking his newly "reconditioned" drifter in the water. He's still waiting to test it out on a local lake here to see if it is water worthy. He's been working on some repairs and things are looking good. Stop us if you see us! Good luck out there. |
