My name is Jeff aka.FishHawk. I live in Northern Oakland Cty. MI. I mainly fish inland lakes for panfish, smallies, and larrys. I fly fish 75% of time and spincast and baitcast the rest. Fly fishing from a Native Ultimate 14.5 Kayak is now my passion. I have fished competitive bass tournaments in the past. I sold the bass boat bought the kayak and have never looked back. It's hard to get the fly rod out of my hands now. Look forward to sharing! Will send some picks of my pimped out kayak soon.

...yup flyfishing is definitely the "dark side"...
I just got me a pontoon and plan on using it alot for precisely the same reason you mentioned. If you like kayak/flyfishing, check out the grand river from Eaton Rapids up to South Lanisng...tons of great smallien fishing and great kayaking!
