White Report 6 Months, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hey guys! fished the white last friday and tuesday morning. went 1/5 and 4/11. its great to see some #'s of fish in the water. tried a new version of an egg and stone combo and it seemed to be working. All four yesterday had it right in the corner of the mouth. I was having some problems accidently snaggin' fish with the C&D method so I asked a fellow fisherman the correct way to tie up and indy' rig and wow what a difference it has made for me. Im startin to get real comfortable with the new fly rod and I am stoked for another night of action tonight. I know I keep saying that Ill post some pictures, but id rather be in the current of the river then sitting behind this computer....tight lines!

From my fly line I tie a 15' leader of 20lb test with an inline slip bobber with a 6mm bead then a swivel. from the swivel i tie my egg and trailer fly depending on your caddis/stone of choice on 6lb/4lb/2lb test depending on water clarity and how skiddish the fish are. I attach the appropriate shot weight just above the swivel on the 20lb test. Depending on the depth of the run or gravel adjust your bob up or down. Im having trouble uploading pictures so if anyone can tell me how I would happily post some pics of the setup and the fish Ive been catchin/releasin : ) tight lines....
